Our Story
Schtips started with a simple frustration.
Smoking filters are the single most commonly littered items in the world. They’re unpleasant to see, difficult to pick up, and they don’t break down in a way that’s kind to the environment. Traditional filters contain materials like tar and cellulose acetate, which can leach into our lungs, soil, and water over time. They’re also a frequent cause of accidental fires when they’re tossed while still hot.
Schtips exists as an alternative.
Our tips are made to be reusable, easy to clean, and durable. By using a single tip over and over, you’re not tossing something after every session. The material we use is a stabilized, non-toxic elastomer that doesn’t break down into micro-particles and holds up under consistent use.
Beyond the environmental side, we believe in a heightened smoking experience. Set and setting matter. The space you’re in, your mindset, and the music playing - it all impacts your experience.
